2010 Harbour Fest & Wickford Cup Race

North Kingstown Chamber Charitable Foundation will host their largest fundraiser of the year on Sunday, September 19th, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. This family- friendly event will include childrens' games & face painting, a cake walk sponsored by Gregg's Restaurant & Dave's Marketplace, giant pumpkin raffle, fine artisan crafts and jewelry, wooden boat models display and demonstration, harbor tours, regional food and fare, quahog shucking demo and sampling, lobster raffles on the hour. Buccaneer and pirate battle and invasion on Wickford Cove. Kids and notable scoundrels will be held for ransom in the Wickford stockade!  The finale of the event will culminate with the 8th Annual Wickford Cup Race where you can charter a plastic sailboat ($5.00) to be set asail on the mighty tide of Wickford Cove...all for cash prizes and a bounty of booty prizes.
