Beaches- , In addition to our Town Beach Complex, there are four beaches at QuonsetPoint which were opened to the public in 2008. Adjacent to the largest commercial park in the state, these beaches offer some of the most beaautiful and peaceful settings on Narragansett Bay.
Golf- North Kingstown Municipal Golf Course- Located on the former Navy base, this 18th hole, par 70 course is the leading public course in Rhode Island. Cart rentals, putting greens, driving range also on sight. The clubhouse is home to Pelly’s 19th Hole Restaurant as well as lockers, showers and pro-shop.
Water Related- Allen Harbor- located at Quonset/Davisville, is the only municipal marina in Rhode Island and the first marina to receive “Clean Marina” designation. Set in a beautiful, well-protected harbor with immediate access to Narragansett Bay, the facility offers moorings, slips, pumpout station, and a boat ramp and picnic pavilion.
Wickford Harbor- One of the best known harbors in southern New England, Wickford offers a variety of boating services available at a variety of businesses including Brewer’s Wickford Cove Marina, Pleasant Street Wharf, Wickford Marina and Wickford Shipyard. In addition to the boating facilities, the village of Wickford is well-known for its unique shops, history, and churches. Wickford has also become a hub for kayak sales and rentals. Whether a novice or a skilled kayaker, The Kayak Center in Wickford can be your launching site for an enjoyable water experience. Public boat ramps are available at Pleasant Street and Intrepid Drive.
Ski- Yawgoo Valley Ski Area & Sports Park, located just over the town line in Exeter, has become a destination for skiers of all ages and skill levels. In the winter months you can enjoy 12 maintained trails with modern snowmaking and grooming equipment. Snow boarding and snow tubing are also available at the park. When the temperature rises, Yawgoo keeps the fun going strong with their waterslide and pools in the summer months. They also have a pitch & putt facility to improve your golfing skills.
Bowling- Two facilities in town offer a range of bowling opportunities from the standard, league sized balls (Kingstown Bowl) to the smaller duckpin (Wickford Lanes) options.

Old Narragansett Church
Built in 1707, this is the oldest Episcopal Church north of the Potomac. Thechurch is located off Main Street on Church Lane.
A 17thcentury trading post which became a large plantation with historic gardens. Located on Post Rd (rte 1) just north of Wickford. 294-3521
USS Saratoga Museum
The mini museum is currently located in North Kingstown awaiting the arrival of the actual warship to a museum park to be located here also.831-8696.
Plum Beach Lighthouse
This historic lighthouse (built In 1899) has recently been restored on the exterior and once again welcome visitors to our community.
Quonset Air Museum
The home of many military aircrafts from around the country and world. The Air Museum is dedicated to the preservation of Rhode Island’s rich aviation history. 294-9540.
